Buttonquail is a stylish safari style tented camp, overlooking the Palmiet River, filled with touches of luxury, making it a unique and truly relaxing experience. Situated in the picturesque Palmiet valley, only 75km from Cape Town, Buttonquail shares a 5km boundary with the Kogelberg Biosphere. We have loads of activities you can do - 4x4 nature drives, boat trips on the lake, walking trails, mountain bikes welcome, canoeing, birding and exploring our "little 5" flora, fauna, avian, amphibian and reptile species.
The tents are all comfortably furnished with queen beds with percale sheets, blankets and hot water bottles and double bunks for the kids (who bring sleeping bags). All tents are en suite and have heating. We are a green camp, have no electricity and run smoothly along with solar power, paraffin lanterns, gas and candles.
We are self catering but can offer breakfast if prebooked.
We are an unusual and perfectly delightful getaway for catered functions, conferences, country weddings, childrens adventure camps, kids birthday parties and school outings. |
