Tierbos Manor House is a Cape Heritage house situated in a private estate with its own nature reserve. It is graded as a 4 star establishment by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. The house is furnished in traditional style befitting its age and beauty. There are 3 double en suite bedrooms which sleep 6 persons and an en suite, self-contained cottage which accommodates another 4 persons. Dining and living areas include a winter and summer sitting room and a dining room.

The kitchen is large, modern, fully equipped and beautifully appointed. There is a separate scullery/laundry area. A covered verandah runs the full length of the front of the house and includes a Jacuzzi, with panoramic sea and mountain views.

The breakfast area opens onto the back terrace and pond/waterfall feature.

All linen and towels are provided.

The property is set in a beautiful, indigenous garden with sweeping lawns, a large swimming pool and a lapa area for outdoor entertaining. A self-contained outdoor cottage on the pond provides further accommodation. Safe, outdoor parking on the property is available. We offer a complimentary cleaning service once a week. Additional cleaning services can be arranged.

We are a 5-minute car drive to the Hout Bay village and 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. The house is strictly non smoking and no pets are allowed.

Tierbos Manor House is furnished in traditional style in accordance with its Cape Heritage status. For this reason, management reserves the right to accept/reject accommodation requests from families with younger children. Should there be younger guests staying at Tierbos, they would need to be carefully supervised on account of the pool and pond/waterfall feature in the garden. A cot is available for children under 2 years of age.
