Blue Bay Lodge Hotel:
The elegantly gabled Blue Bay Lodge is built only meters above the wide, sandy beaches of Saldanha Bay; a tranquil South African fishing village lying approximately 120 kilometers North of the legendarily beautiful Cape Town. Situated in the relaxing privacy of the resort, the hotel offers guests privacy, first class accommodation, and a wide range of services and activities. 'Privacy and tranquillity' is our tagline. The hotel has comfortable, three star 'en suite' rooms, broad terraces where drinks are served to guests as they relax watching whales and porpoises glide by, before being served delicious meals in its charming a la carte restaurant, the well known 'Blue Bay Café'. At Blue Bay Lodge careful attention has been paid to every detail ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Each room has been stylishly decorated in tones of naturals and blues. Colours of the sea and sand are echoed in the crisp, cool decor with hints of warmth. All 16 of the luxurious rooms and 16 luxury suites have en-suite bathrooms, DSTV, a hairdryer and coffee making facilities. The hotel also offers a tennis court, a 'braai' area, and for those who have their fill of swimming in the sea, there is a sparkling pool to dive into.
Blue Bay Lodge Self-catering Cottages:
Blue Bay Lodge is adjoined by a number of well designed, comfortable self-catering cottages where guests can enjoy even greater privacy. Each of the cottages has its own ‘braai’ area and a television. Laundry Services are available at a nominal additional fee. Naturally guests can take advantage of the Blue Bay Lodge facilities right next door. The cottages, with one, two or three bedrooms, are built amongst the Cape fynbos and blend in with the natural landscape. Each unit is tastefully furnished, the rooms are light and airy and each has a fully equipped kitchen. From the cottage windows parents can watch their kids playing on the beach, just yards away, secure in the knowledge that, within privacy of the resort they are safe from the outside world. Those who had their fill of swimming in the clear blue sea can also cool down by diving into one of the Lodges’ sparkling clear fresh water pools. |
