| On July
7, 1988, the Reach For A Dream Foundation made its very
first dream come true, when JC Steinman was treated to
rides on a pony and motorcycle for his birthday. The Foundation
fulfils the dreams of children of all income groups and
of any race, colour or creed between the ages of 3 and
18 years who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening
illness by a doctor. On average 3 individual dreams are
fulfilled every day and more than 6300 children are touched
per year through group outings such as weekend camps, our
Captain Courage programme for boys and Queen For A Day
initiative for the girls. We believe in the power of dreams & encourage
children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening
illnesses. We seek as far as possible to make these special
children’s dreams come true! |
