| The Red
Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital is the only
specialist Hospital dedicated entirely to Children in sub-Saharan
Africa. The Children are always seriously ill, often with
rare, life-threatening conditions. Groundbreaking research
carried out on Children’s diseases and HIV/AIDS at
this teaching Hospital impacts on the care and treatment
of Children internationally. The Children’s Hospital
Trust is the fundraising arm of the Red Cross Children’s
Hospital. 100% of the money we raise goes towards purchasing
the most up-to-date medical equipment, to the ongoing building
and refurbishment of the Hospital, as well as to supporting
educational programmes at the Hospital. Built in 1956,
the Hospital urgently needs funds to upgrade the 50 year
old building and purchase modern equipment. |
