The Caledon Wildflower Society turns 118 during 2010 and is still going strong. We endeavour to bring nature to those who do not have the means to access nature and those who have a special interest and love for our rich floral diversity. The Caledon district is very rich in plant species, this enables us to display approximately 600 different species each year. We have experts who assist us with the identification of the species, each species is labelled, stating the proper Latin name, to which family it belongs and the common name when available. Food stalls / wine tasting and merry go round for the children.
