26 August – 11 September (Golden Arrow Studio)
From the creators of the multi-award-winning Karoo Moose, and joined by the extraordinary Rob van Vuuren, comes the brilliant tale of Woyzeck. Written by Georg Büchner in 1834, Woyzeck was the first German literary work whose main characters were members of the working class. Far from being a simple tale of village murder, Woyzeck shows us the systematic debasement, even intellectual and spiritual "murder", of the protagonist and all his class.
Directed by Lara Foot with choreography by Ina Wichterich, Woyzeck promises to be a sensual and visual feast for all serious theatre goers!
