Bakoven
Beach can not really be called a beach as there is
only a very small section of white sand which is
surrounded on either side by rocks and boulders.
The reason for including Bakoven in the beach guide
is that this secluded little bay is a great place
for sunbathing and relaxing in the summer heat.
The
backdrop of the Twelve Apostles Mountains adds
to the already fantastic view of the rocks and
Atlantic Ocean in front of you.
If you want a sheltered spot to work on your tan
or to have sundowners as the sun sets over the
ocean before you, this a fantastic place to do
exactly that.
You can swim off the rocks in the icy cool water,
but take care if there is an ocean swell in the
bay.

exception of Westerly winds.

rocky left reef break. The ride is short &
