Diaz
Beach is situated in the Cape Point Nature Reserve.
Cape Point is over an hours drive from Cape Town
and there is a R35 entry fee. So why travel so
far if there are beaches that are so much closer?
The benefit of this beach is that it is secluded,
very peaceful and extremely beautiful. You may
even have the entire beach to yourself; apart from
the baboons who venture down to the beach from
time to time. Once you reach the Cape Point road
continue all the way to the end until you reach
the parking lot. From the parking lot take the
path down to the right hand side all the way down
to the beach. Approximate walking time: 20 min.
down and 30-40 min. for the walk up. This beach
is definitely worth all the effort getting there.
You will be treated to spectacular views and a
beach day not to be forgotten.
