Fish
Hoek beach is great for sunbathing and is a very
pleasant swimming beach. The waves are fairly moderate
and the water is warmer than the Atlantic Ocean
beaches. This is a very family orientated beach
with plenty of space for beach games, swimming
and exploring. If you stroll along the board walk
on the right hand side of the beach you come across
some fascinating rock pools which will offer you
hours of exciting exploration and entertainment.
Fish Hoek beach is a few kilometres long making
it suitable for walking or jogging if you are feeling
energetic. Looking out to sea, Clovelly is in the
left hand corner of the beach and is quite popular
with novice surfers. Refreshments are available
at the café and restaurant. Ice-cream always
goes down well on a hot summer’s day.
