Muizenberg Beach is great for walking, swimming, surfing and sunbathing. As you enter Muizenberg you can’t miss the colourful beach huts and white sandy beach extending far into the distance. The beach is very popular with families with loads of sunbathing space and activities on offer. If you are not surfing or sun tanning there are two 18 hole putt-putt courses, a very popular water slide and a host of refreshment stands. The waves are not too powerful making them nice for swimming, body boarding and surfing. The water is often lined with loads of surfers but you never feel too overcrowded as there are breaks all the way down the beach, with surfer’s corner being the most popular.
