Table
View Beach is located along the seafront road.
There are numerous parking areas along the road
where you can pull off and easily get onto the
beach. Like the other beaches in Table Bay the
beach is exposed to the wind so for sunbathing,
calm conditions are best. The beach stretches in
both directions making it great for long walks
and exercising. If you are there to relax you will
be treated to great views of Table Mountain and
Robben Island and there are always ships sailing
past in the bay. When you come off the beach there
are some great venues for eating and drinking,
and they are great for sundowners as well.
On windy days it’s wonderful to sit and watch the colourful display of
kites that stretch the beach.
