Monkey
Town primate rescue centre is a sanctuary for more than
230 exotic primates. Most of the 27 species are endangered.
A visit to Monkey Town will possibly be you only chance
to see these primates and other animals, such as birds
and antelope.
We offer guided tours, interaction with tame monkeys, a touch farmyard, play
park, gift shop, feeding times and restaurant.
The park is designed in such a way, that
the visitors wander through walkways and the monkeys roam freely.
The sanctuary is open 7 days a week from 09h00 - 17h00. Bookings can be made
for school outings and birthday parties. |

| MONKEY TOWN EDUCTAIONAL TOURS FOR LEARNERS: |
Animals fascinate children. At Monkey Town Primate Centre, we use this fascination as a platform to reach out to children and make learning a great journey for all schools.
Monkey Town is a wildlife centre for monkeys and apes with more than 230 animals and 28 different exotic species including Sunny, Tammy and Ruby our famous chimpanzee sister.
There is also a touch farmyard, koi ponds, many bird species and small antelope on the premises.
We are inviting you to visit Monkey Town with your learners for an educational outing and take part in our special programme. We can accommodate up to 120 learners from Mondays to Fridays.
The various programme entail a short presentation by Monkey Town Staff followed by group activity and a guided field trip and tour through Monkey Town. The time allocated should be at least 1 hour. By booking only. |
