Adventure Works has over twelve years experience in creating fun, outdoor adventures and team building events and continues to create new and exciting activities at a host of diverse venues in stunning surroundings.
We offer fun, adventurous activities for corporate groups, predominantly in the greater Cape Town area. Inbound Incentive groups enjoy our Power Boat trips to Cape Point, Cycling in the Winelands, Paddling with the Penguins, chauffeur driven Harley Davidson transfers and Amazing Races which show case our spectacular country.
Teambuilding is also a large part of our repertoire. We offer both indoor and outdoor events from Art to Acrobatics, Minute to Wine It competitions, GPS Orienteering and Quad Biking, we have something for all group dynamics.
We work closely with the Conferencing and Incentive industries and to date the largest group we have run is 700 pax, however we accommodate small groups with just the same professionalism and attention to detail.
We can also arrange your venue, catering and transport needs if required.
Some of our most popular activities include:
Forest Survivor and Cook Off: Pit your teams’ skills against the competition in a series of fun activities in the forest. The activities will include a giant Sack Race, Blind folded rope Soccer, rope shapes, Puzzle Orienteering, blind trails, Spaghetti towers, Human knots and many more.
Teams will then prepare a “lekker” braai where you will be judged on taste, style and presentation of the meal.
Beach Teambuild: Fun and laughter prevail as teams compete in teambuilding activities and games on the beach. We end the event using inflatable canoes for boat races which is often the highlight of the day.
Century City and Intaka Island Amazing Race: This race combines the best that man and nature have to offer. We start with an orienteering event through the beautiful wetlands area visiting bird hides and frog ponds then use inflatable canoes to navigate the waterways of the canal system. Arriving at Canal Walk teams must answer a series of questions and complete some urban tasks to be the winning team.
Social Responsibility Events: Do you like the idea of giving back but have no idea how to go about it? Do you have resources which could help the needy but don’t know who to contact? Or do you just have a few spare hours which you would like to put to use helping others? Then Adventure Works can help. We don’t only organise adventure but also create meaningful, sustainable social responsibility events. From planting a tree or painting a wall to taking orphans on an outing or building a new crèche, we can help.
GPS Orienteering: GPS Orienteering is a great way to bring mentally stimulating technology into an adventure teambuilding event. Strategy, Communication and effective teamwork will be required in order to complete the task in the most efficient method. Using the GPS teaches useful navigation and planning skills while empowering the group to take responsibility for their decision making.
