Sea Kayak Tours:
Sea Kayak the warm waters of False Bay and we'll show you some rather amazing things. We offer a variety of trips from the sedate to the adventurous.

The most popular trip is to visit the penguins at Boulders Beach. No experience necessary and it's no more taxing than hiking up a hill. For the more adventurous we take you to Cape Point on a kayak, undoubtedly one of the highlights of a trip to South Africa.

And for adrenalin junkies, on windy days join us for an unforgettable kayak surfing trip on the open sea. See the choices below for more info.

Penguin Sea Kayak Trip:

One of the most unique places in the world - a penguin colony in suburban Cape Town! And the best way to see it is from the water. We leave from Simon's Town Waterfront and paddle past the civilian and Naval Harbour and out to Boulder's Beach. After visiting the penguins we stop on a lovely semi-private beach for refreshments, swimming and snorkelling (we provide the snorkels and refreshments!) Our double kayaks are very stable and perfect for those with no paddling experience. During the whale season from August to October there is a good chance of seeing whales as well.

Details:
Trips leave every day at 9.30am.
Afternoon trips available in December holidays
Duration 2 to 2.5 hours.
R250 per person
Cape Point Sea Kayak Trip:

Paddle in the vicinity of this, the fairest Cape. View the dramatic Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, the most south-westerly point of the African continent, as it was seen by thousands of sailors throughout history - from the sea. We will often spot a whale or some dolphins, all seeking the protection of False Bay. This trip is aimed at the fit and energetic - experience is not essential. There is also the option of transiting around Cape Point, the Cape of Storms, and the Cape of Good Hope - one of the Everests of the world's oceans.

Details:
Trip includes Park entry fees, refreshments and lunch.
Duration 4 to 6 hours.
Not normally available in December/January holiday season.
R850 per person
