Share the ‘stoke’ of surfing with your friends and family before saying 'I do'. A group surf lesson is an active, alternative way to for all your friends and family to meet and hang out in a relaxed, fun environment before your special day. We cater for all ages, shapes and sizes and our progressive coaching techniques will have even the most un-athletic feeling confident in the water. The 2- hour lesson includes the use of a comfy, warm wetsuit, surfboard and we’ll even take photographs to document the event.
Stoked School of Surf guarantees a fun morning or afternoon out that will leave everyone beaming with ‘stoke’. We can tailor this event to your specific needs with a transported option available as well as additions such as cupcakes and champagne (for the girls) or beer and snacks (for the boys).
We will meet your group at the beach with the best conditions on the day of the lesson (or pick your group up if you choose the transported option). Alternatively, if there is a beach that is a more suitable location for your group to access, we can arrange to conduct a lesson there (provided it is suitable for beginner lessons).
Upon arrival at the beach, we will change into our wetsuits and hit the surf for a 2-hour lesson. We will take the group through the very basics of surfing from ocean awareness, to correct paddling technique and how to stand up and surf the waves. Our qualified coaches will ensure that every student is safe at all times so that groups with varying abilities of water skill are catered for.
