Vineyards & Wines is a Co-operative winery that was
established in 1953. The cellar currently has approximately
55 members that delivers up to 23 000 tons of grapes per
year. Despite this large quantity of wine being made our
winemakers work hard to ensure a top quality product at
affordable prices. From there, our motto: “Value
for money products”. While the larger amount of our
wines are currently being exported and sold to wholesale
merchants, we have exciting, top of the range bottled wines
with something for every tastebud. This includes our Balthazar
range made in our small private cellar, CAVE PREVé DE
BALTHAZAR, situated on Roodezandt’s Premises. In
this corner of our cellar only grapes from specially selected
vineyards are used to make our Balthazar Chardonnay and
Balthazar Classic Cabernet Sauvignon. |
