| A selection
of fine wines is available for tasting everyday. The cost
of the exciting tour is a nominal R 20 per person and is
free for children under 18. We’ve upgraded our facilities
at the cellar and have re-named it the Bergkelder Wine
Centre. We strive to offer `The Best Wine Experience in
The Cape`. One of the most advanced and the first of its
kind in the Southern Hemisphere, this 'cellar in the mountain'
was built in 1968. The Bergkelder hugs the steep slopes
of the historic Papegaaiberg mountain. Then it is time
to taste the range of Fleur de Cap wines that are produced
in the leading vineyards of the Cape. After your tour of
The Bergkelder you are welcome to stop at The Fine Wine
Shop to purchase a selection of our premium wines and special
souvenirs of your visit. It is open during business hours
from Monday to Saturday. |
