your vehicle and take in the beauty of the ancient oak
trees planted over 300 years ago to keep the sheep and
cattle safe from leopards. The farm breathes antiquity
and magically transports you to a land long forgotten;
from the original house of its founding forefathers built
in 1685 to the cellar built in the late 1800’s.

Estate is situated 20 miles from the city of Cape Town.
When standing on the slopes, one can see both the Atlantic
and Indian oceans. Muratie’s prestigious wines have
reached acclaim both in South Africa and internationally. |
