has grown to become one of the larger private wineries
in the country. The Griers have in excess of 240 ha of
their own vineyard yielding a very limited 8 tons/ha. This
kind of volume allows careful selection and opportunity
for experimentation. Villiera has world class facilities
for guests to come and taste the fine selection of wines.
Relax after your tour of the cellar and enjoy a variety
of the finest offerings. At Villiera the underlying philosophy
is to ensure that the wines reflect the specific character
of the “terroir”, as well as the unique characteristics
of each vintage. Extensive replanting of classic and
local varietals, coupled with the introduction of modern
cellar facilities for both still wine and Mèthode
Cap Classique production, has layed firm foundations for
the outstanding wines produced by this dedicated family
team. |
